No cruising aloud in the world!? Who is going to stop this mad villain and help restore the usage of cursing? Well don’t you worry because Agent thunder will, this fun improv show is about an agent who goes on a different missions each performance making each show unique in its own way. All the performances are made up on the spot in creative ways, being helped with live music to set the tone and fun sound effects. This Specific performance is about Agent thunder where he is sent to L.A to stop the Clean Mouth Society from stopping the usage of curse words. Inside this organization we see a worker who is being fired for knowing too much and going against Clean Mouth Society and its goal. With this worker being fired and Agent thunder, both are able to help save the world's freedom of expression. The actors Michael Vetsch and Matt Ness did a fantastic job in playing agent Thunder. They would both switch to play multiple characters within the story and would act out all the actions and narrations being done. Both actors have funny physicality, remarkable facial expressions, and lovely slow mo stunts. A couple of design elements that help this story come alive was the lighting and sounds. The live music done by Andrew Creswick helped set the scene of fights and confrontations, while the lighting changes made the fights look intense or helped the audience ease into the next scene. The sound cues were done on the spot and helped in a comedic aspect. I loved the concept of the performance right from the start, it was all well planned out and executed beautifully. This is a performance of chaos actions, saving the world from any problem. I would 100% recommend this show to everyone.

Can you Hula hoop? But with multiple at a time using multiple different limbs. Well I can't but Sarah Teakle sure can. The Sarah Teakle's Circus Show was a fun and silly performance with hard impressive tricks.

Sarah Teakle is the shows director and performer, she does both juggling and Hula hooping showing off impressive skills. In this performance she was also able to teach children a few lessons on not giving up and to be positive.

This show included both physical movement and audience participation which everyone loved. This is a show directed more toward children but the adults in the audience also had lots laughs.

Sarah Teakle is a great performer who even does her best trick at the end as a surprise and left everyone cheering for her. I loved this show and so much fun and would recommend for children.

Have you ever been to a hotel with bellhops? I personally have never but Checked Out sure made me feel like I was in a hotel watching a story play out. From friends fighting to making up, this show was a fun experience loved by the audience.

Checked Out directed by Sam Villetard and play written by Samantha Fraughton is a story about 2 friend bellhops who work together in a hotel that is having its 100th anniversary. This friendship duo is able to work together until a problem arises that makes them both compete against each other. Along with lots of miscommunication and miss placement, this show is truly something unique.

Actors Holly Wandler who played Cora and Sam Free who played Ethan did a fantastic performance. Being able to embody their characters to a tea with their physicality and expressions. Both actors were able to give the audience 2 scenes at once in an organized manner that did not feel overwhelming and made certain situations more comedic. Both performers were able to also play multiple other characters that I will not mention to keep it a surprise, but when they both had to play the same character and different times, they did a great job in making the character the exact same personality wise keeping the audience in the story.

This show had multiple design elements that helped us image a hotel building. Have multiple suitcases, a makeshift elevator, and costumes for the bellhop characters and other smaller costume pieces to represent other characters. Along with these design elements, lighting and music was used to help set the scene, emotion and situation. All fitting perfectly into this chaotic story.

I loved this show so much, and you can really see the time and effort that the cast, directors, and techs put into this show. All the jokes were landed and the audience also helped the show feel more relaxed. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a show that stands out. This performance was like a fresh breath of air and I would love to watch it again.

We all have a song in our hearts no? A song that represents who we are as a person, The Singing Psychic Game Show was a show that really brings out the unexpected. This show gave lots of laughs, insight into personal lives, and a fun friendly competition that also made everyone sing together.

The Singing Psychic Game Show performed by Marysia Trembecka is a show where readings of people are done, but not just any type of reading, but readings of the music in your soul, along with what the music means. Marysia Trembecka picked multiple people from the audience and gave them this fantastic reading helping them understand parts of their lives and how to resolve a few issues as well.

The actual performance was a fun one, the audience was split into 2 groups and each team was competing for points. There was lots of dancing, singing, jokes, stories, jenga, and most important music! This is a kid friendly show but I will say the adults did have a more fun time. This performance included music from all the major eras and was loved by older audience members especially those who grew up in the 70s.

The actual music part was very fun and upbeat keeping the audience engaged and motivated to keep participating. The lighting was very fitting for certain moments and for certain songs.

Marysia Trembecka is a great performer with fantastic vocals singing multiple songs. I had a great time in this performance, especially seeing how much everyone enjoyed it. I would recommend this show to anyone and would watch it again. Especially since each show is slightly different in its own special way.

I’m just kidding around! I was just a joke! And jokes they did make. This show was a fun and energetic performance for both children and adults having physical movement and thinking games. The fun thing about Kidding around is that it is an improvisation show, making each performance different and unique.

What the Kidding around cast did for this performance was a competition between 2 teams, a pink team and a blue team. The goal for each team was to accumulate as many points as possible through games, which then the audience would choose the team they thought deserved the points.

The performance had 3 rounds making both teams do different things to get the most support from the audience. Some of the activities included Zumba, improv games with suggestions or help from the audience, and a round of using props with different purposes. All of these games allowed for both children and adults to participate. Making it a family friendly show that everyone can enjoy.

This show did have a few design elements, one being the lighting. The lighting was very colorful and loud but not too bright to hurt the eye. It added a sense of silliness along with keeping the stage entertaining. During the performance we also got to listen to some songs that matched perfectly with the situation happening on the stage.

This was a very fun show and I personally did enjoy it. The actors' quick thinking on their feet is what also made this show so fun and enjoyable. Another factor that helped this performance so much was the respect and cooperation that the audience had in helping move the games forward. I would recommend this show to everyone, especially to children.

Heartbreaks are hard, in all points of our lives from being a kid to a full grown adult. Costco Heartbreak goes through these moments in Jon David's life in a light hearted comedic way and he walks us through his heartbreaks in his past and how they affected him emotionally.

This performance was a comical one with touches of serious emotions and experiences that Jon David went through in his past. We get to hear multiple stories of relationships and crushes of his own and of people around him.

This story brings light to how it feels to be falling behind compared to people around you, and it also brings up questions of “what if?” in a person's life. This performance also reminds us that there is no pressure or rush in needing to find our right person, because they will come when the time is right.

This show was a fun lighthearted down to earth performance and is something that can bring ease to a person. If you want to watch something relaxed and funny this is the show to come see.

Love a great joke? Or do you love to see a great magic trick? The Illusionary Magic of Sitruc James was able to give the audience both jokes and spectacular tricks that leave people in awe and confusion. From hoops to cutting an assistant in half, The Illusionary Magic of Sitruc James has it all.

This performance is a great one for both kids and adults, so if you are a parent taking your child you are in luck. All of these magic tricks performed graciously and really do leave you thinking about how it is even possible to make 2 girls appear in a cage. This show consisted of card tricks, illusions, appearing and disappearing objects, and traps which I will not mention to keep it a surprise.

A fun experience of this performance is that some of the stunts and tricks called for volunteers for the audience. Helping tie up the magician with locks or helping with confirming no trickery was happening, there truly was a chance and space for both adults and children to be part of this show.

Another great aspect of the performance was the jokes! Now I love myself a good joke, and Sitruc James the magician of the performance knew what he was doing in making the audience laugh. Having both jokes for adults and children really does make the show a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Now, I am not one for magic, In fact I am the type of person who really tries to figure out how illusions work. But this show did leave me wanting to see more and amazed at how all these tricks are even possible. Sitruc James and his fashionable assistants truly bring a wow factor to this fringe festival and recommend this show to children and to people who doubt the works of magic.

Want to hear a life story with emotional depth, classic songs and fanatic singing abilities? I’ll be here : A musical Cabaret is just up your alley. This short and sweet cabaret was able to bring the audience into multiple feelings of different life experiences both good and bad. The best part of this cabaret is that when the emotion gets too strong, you must sing them, and sing as they did.

I’ll be here : A musical Cabaret is directed by Clinton Carew and written by Elena Porter. In this cabaret the audience gets to hear stories of Elena Porter past 10 years and all the ups and downs she has had during them. Bringing the audience both joyful and emotional heartfelt songs. We get to see how Elena Porter thinks about these past events and how she expresses her emotions to the audience.

The performance of the afternoon truly was a talented one, with Elena Porter singing live with a range of quick and slow songs and having a very impressive vocal range. We also get to see live music from Steven Greenfield playing the piano to all of the songs and accompanying Elena Porter in a few songs. This hour long performance really did provide a range of songs, fun facts, jokes, emotions and stories. But all was done in a manner that did not feel overwhelming, all these fun and unique pieces of story fell perfectly like puzzle pieces giving a great performance.

A technical element that added depth to the stories and to the songs was the lighting. The lighting was able to change the mood of the story and draw in the audience to the story. The lighting was also able to set the moods of the songs being performed helping with the changes of the story.

I personally was amazed by the talent of these two artists, they both know how to deliver a performance and to make sure that the story they are telling sticks with the audience. The song options were picked to truly fit with all the different parts of this story, and would recommend to anyone who loves to see an emotional piece.

Should I call the Edmonton Journal? Because this show was unexpected, The Last Perfect Game : The Jerry Stephenson Story brought the audience to an actual bowling alley and was able to immerse the audience into a casual round of bowling that became more exciting with the more strikes Jerry was able to hit.

The Last Perfect Game : The Jerry Stephenson Story was directed by Jan Selman and written by Samantha Fraughton is a story that jumps back and forth in time from a late date bowling night happening in the present and a casual game of bowling in the early 1960s with some friends. During both of these games we get to the growing excitement of getting closer to hitting a perfect strike and if it is possible to beat the perfect score.

The performance of the night provided a relaxed environment that had everyone on the edge the further it went on. The Actors David Widder-Varhegyi, Lauren Johnsen, Sam Villetard and Sadie Granigan-Lema, all had extraordinary chemistry in their characters' relationships and friendships showcasing multiple dynamics. Andrew Boyd who played Rob and David Widder-Varhegyi who played Jerry both had fantastic physicality embodying the characters nature, and Ryan Schmitt who played Laurie helped bring the audience back and forth between both nights narrating them perfectly.

The story takes place in the 1960s and in the present time, and we can really see this difference in the characters' costumes changing back and forth from style in the 60s and from our present day. In fact the environment around in the bowling alley radiated 60s vibes especially with the usage of props. The Play was really able to bring the audience between both words and the attention to detail did pay off.

My initial reaction when I entered the venue and sat down was unsureness. I did not have a single clue on how the play was going to play out and if I would enjoy it. But I was shortly proven wrong within 10 minutes of the play starting and did have a terrific time. I would recommend this short play to anyone and everyone, because it truly was a unique and one of a kind experience.
