See It Again

In this sharp and funny one-woman show, a hairdresser doesn’t just style her clients—she becomes them. With each new appointment, she slips into a different persona, brilliantly capturing the quirks, voices, and stories of everyone who sits in her chair. From laugh-out-loud impressions to surprisingly touching moments, In the Chair explores identity, empathy, and the quiet power of human connection—all through the lens of a salon visit.

I loved this show. Joanna Rannelli was amazing as a hairdresser morphing into several different client characters each with a different accent, personality & mannerism, and yes,,, hairstyle. I brought my hairdresser and 5 friends to the show and we all could relate to the different personalities and storylines. My hairdresser said Joanna nailed it.This is a fun show. Lots of laughs. Go see it. Joanna is very talented and someone you want to watch.

See It Again

It’s such a shame this show was already sold out before the festival even began—I would have loved to see it again with some of my friends! Thankfully, my daughter and I managed to get tickets for opening night, and it exceeded every expectation.

The acting, writing, and performance were absolutely fantastic. Joanna Rannelli’s portrayal of Nikki—and the lively cast of clients she embodies—is incredibly funny, brilliantly relatable, and completely captivating. Her characters felt so real and so full of life, we laughed our asses off!

See It Again

I loved this show. Joanna is a POWERHOUSE performer.

Joanna embodies the character of "Nikki", a hair-stylist who has heard (and seen!) it all. Recounting the most ridiculous, delightful, heartfelt stories of her most intriguing clients, we are taken on a whirlwind tour de farce of believable, ridiculous and real characters that all make you laugh and feel in equal measure.

Blending comedy, heart and charm, this show covers all the bases you could possibly ask for in your favourite Fringe shows.

The run is completely sold out (for good reason!) but if you're lucky, you might be able to snag a spot when they release a couple extra tickets just before the show.

Catch it if you can! You won't regret it!
