The performance I attended did receive a standing ovation, so bear that in mind as you read my review.

I wanted to like this, but it didn’t do anything for me. A major part of the problem was the sound, which was inconsistent in quality and did little to enhance the visual spectacle. (I found it often worked against it.) I admire the strength and coordinated movement of the dancers, but there was no discernible story, and the chemistry among the performers was decidedly lacking—even though everyone was obviously committed and giving their all.

People who know dance firsthand will likely love this show. Non-dancers like me may take a bit more convincing.
