Normally on this day I would be doing a syllabus or building a course. Instead I retired and enjoyed this deja vu at Fringe. Prof Gougis took us to college media 101 with a fun blend of audience/student interaction. Still LMAO at his witty imrov responses. Pretty sure I need to write a good review because he said he might accept such bribery for extra credit. Does anybody remember what kind of sandwich he likes? Dialing door dash...

Rose-Ingrid's amazing voice and the Katie James music created a warm vibe. My husband and I were moved to tears by the final song. About halfway in, the gospel music was almost too much for this atheist but of course it was essential to showing the story. I hung on in anticipation of her powerful reveal. Not disappointed. Amazed and still buzzing from the intimacy of her masterfully performed bio. A very impactful message. She is still a fabulous minister ... for freethinking souls. Thank you!

The performers they did very well. Their singing was great, but the music underneath the scene overcame their voices and we could not get the lyrics. For my husband with a hearing aid it was even worse. The venue basically sucks. The performers and the script all of that was fabulous. Would love to see it again in a better venue.

I'm glad I brought my handkerchief to this, but I wouldn't tell you to avoid it if you're afraid of crying. It's very moving. The play is extremely well written and extremely well enacted. Seriously thought-provoking with lots interest of laugh aloud moments interwoven within the grim subject, how do we make our final exit something special and memorable? The answer in this play might surprise you.
