After watching Sydney Keir perform in Fringe shows over the past two years, I was incredibly excited to see her choreographic debut this year, and she absolutely did not disappoint. I was completely blown away.

Seasons of Souls combines stunning choreography, incredible athleticism, and cutting-edge technical elements to create a beautiful, thought-provoking work. Each dancer is exceptionally talented in their own right, but together the ensemble could go toe-to-toe with any dance company in Canada.

I was particularly impressed by the show’s use of projection. Rather than distracting from the performance, it enhances the storytelling and deepens the emotional impact of the piece.

Exploring time, our relationship with it, and how that relationship evolves throughout our lives, Seasons of Souls is a must-see at the 2026 Toronto Fringe.
