This is my favorite show of the season! I am astounded at the level of talent in that group; the casting choices were perfect, especially Santuzza's character. I have no idea what she was saying (I don't speak Italian) but I believed every single word!! This show should not be missed! Even for people not familiar with opera these shows by Pop Goes the Opera are a great way to try it out.

I always try to catch Ron Pearson’s shows at the various Edmonton festivals so I knew this would be a show I definitely wanted to catch, and was I ever impressed! Ron plays the part of a casino owner teaching people how to win... but "the house always wins". Part story, part magic, and definitely a winner.

I’ve been thinking about this show ever since we left! Being able to memorize the order of a shuffled deck of cards is already impressive, but the stories that went along with them were sentimental, humorous at times, and touching. I would definitely see this again, and since the cards will always be shuffled into a different, order every show will be unique.

For one person to seamlessly change from character to character, being able to portray dialogue between multiple characters in a conversation without ambiguity as to who is talking is such a talent! We thoroughly enjoyed this show!!

I literally did laugh so hard I cried at this show! As far as I'm concerned there are no bad shows when it comes to Rapid Fire Theatre. It is already impressive to improvise a whole hour-long show, but to make the improvised show into a musical requires a whole other level of talent. I am always impressed by the level of talent and humour on the stage, as well as the musicians and lighting techs who also improvise.

This was such a sweet and endearing show. This really is a feel-good show about friendship, art, and awkwardness. We loved it!

This show was a lot of fun! We loved the creativity, the music, and the story. This show is for anyone, whether or not you are into D&D, this show is thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to see something a little different!

We liked this show a lot, but the PG rating it is given is wildly inappropriate. Overall, I liked this as a modern adaptation of the Greek classic. I love a good dark drama, and there were no dull moments in this show. It’s a bit longer than a typical Fringe show but I barely noticed. It’s wonderful to see young actors not only being part of Fringe, but also writing shows and then starring in them. As a note for people Fringing with young people, I would NOT recommend this for anyone under 16 despite the PG rating. A PG rating suggests brief and/or comedic violence/blood/etc. but this went beyond that with a prolonged grotesque scene involving a particularly egregious act. I understand why that scene is the way it is as it makes sense in the show, and I would give 5 stars if it had been rated appropriately and I had NOT brought my kid with me, but because it had a PG rating I did, and for this misstatement I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars. Editing to add: I know the box office updated the trigger warnings a few days AFTER Fringe started, but is of little comfort the people who had already purchased non-refundable tickets to a show under a false pretense. It really makes me question all Fringe shows now.
