See It Again

A very entertaining show. I laughed throughout and was sad to see it end. It was short but i would rather have a well down short performance than one that is ruined by dragging out the ending just to hit a magic number of production minutes.

Not My Cup of Tea

The play was fine but i would not go see it again. The actors all did a good job and this review is not a reflection on them. The monkey was brilliant. I guess I just found the actual story did not work for me. It seemed to struggle to find an ending and I found myself looking at my watch wondering when and how it would end.

Not My Cup of Tea

I have seen many good Burlesque shows. This was not one of them. Dancing was poor, it was not titilating, it was not bawdy, it was not burlesque. The "narrators" were using cue cards and kept forgetting their lines. Using gaps in the performance as an opportunity to preach about the injustice of the treatment of the non-straight community was off putting. Not because they were wrong but they are preaching to the wrong audience.
