Margaret Waldron

The only time I wasn’t laughing during this play was when I was stunned into silence. Marita’s performance as the devil is really energetic and cartoon but also really nuanced and varied, she just kept on shocking me and endearing me and disgusting me over and over and over again. I loved her and I was scared of her and she disgusted me and I couldn’t look away. The productions design is also just good, the lighting especially is so creative and ghoulish and playful and im just a big fan. Also there’s puppetry.
