This 70-minute set is highly engaging and expertly paced. The unexpected dialogue callbacks smartly reflect how love is manipulated, just as the title implies. But what exactly was that love? You will have to discover that for yourself from the stage.

The six actors (two are not pictured) are remarkably talented, with the leading actress demonstrating exceptional theatrical diction. For the opening night that I attended, the play was clearly delivered without the use of microphones.

If there is one critique to note, I believe the moments of silence can be filled with more internal tensions (either via stage layout or acting), and there could be more contrasts and projections in verbal stage speech.
