Good story, acting and performance. I like how fantasy, memory and art get blended into each other. I think the writing needs editing and some extra things can be cut. Overall great work.
Really enjoyed this show, a great cast and a funny script. Plenty of laughs and comedy curve balls.
What a romp! Like a good old fashioned comedy of errors where things just keep getting worse and worse for the leads. Really smart writing and knockout performances. Fun references to the world of scifi too. This is well worth it. Very cool staging. I was thoroughly entertained.
This was highly engaging from start to finish, with a healthy dose of conflict that kept the show’s pace up. The acting was great - the character of Jennifer a standout - and I enjoyed seeing it play out in its chaotic and hilarious fashion. Recommend!
Love (Manipulated) is a very cute comedic play! The show's premise - married filmmakers dragging their relationsip issues into the story they're creating and the subplot between the two actors in the film - is a creative and engaging vehicle. There are some clever moments here and a lot of work has clearly gone into bringing this show to life. The plot is unpredictable, so it keeps you engaged because you want to see how things pan yout.
The clear delivery of the seasoned actors made the dialogue easy to follow. The captivating story unfolded authentically and felt true to life. A must-see!
My friend and I really enjoyed this show. It was well acted - the women were especially strong - the script was well written and the story surprising. AND it was funny! Well worth going to see.

LOVE MANIPULATED was absolutely brilliant. strong and inspired performances by the entire cast, incredibly proper comedy. if you get a chance to see it, you should! tell your friends!
Loved the story line! Funny and entertaining! Laughing out loud, also sneaky side jokes that were very well crafted! Would watch again! Would 10/10 recommend this show to others for the fringe! Great acting and prop use!

This 70-minute set is highly engaging and expertly paced. The unexpected dialogue callbacks smartly reflect how love is manipulated, just as the title implies. But what exactly was that love? You will have to discover that for yourself from the stage.
The six actors (two are not pictured) are remarkably talented, with the leading actress demonstrating exceptional theatrical diction. For the opening night that I attended, the play was clearly delivered without the use of microphones.
If there is one critique to note, I believe the moments of silence can be filled with more internal tensions (either via stage layout or acting), and there could be more contrasts and projections in verbal stage speech.
