I saw Mirv-"ish", an improvised musical, and I am continually amazed that people can make up an entire musical on the spot and somehow make it look easy.

The cast was fantastic across the board. The gentleman playing Michael was beautifully awkward, and I genuinely can't tell if that's just who he is as a person or an Oscar-worthy performance. Honestly, I don't want to know, I choose to believe the mystery is part of the magic.

Then there was "Generic Man," who had some absolutely impeccable unintentional comedic timing. Whether it was planned or happy accidents, every awkward beat landed perfectly and had the audience in stitches.

The ladies were equally wonderful, with some seriously impressive vocals that elevated the entire show. But my standout had to be little sister Bernice, played by someone I can only assume escaped from clown school with top honours. Every entrance, every reaction, every moment was comedy gold, and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

The combination of quick wit, catchy songs, and performers who commit 110% to whatever ridiculous direction the show takes makes this an absolute blast. Since it's improvised, you'll never see the same show twice, which is a pretty great excuse to keep coming back.

10/10. Would absolutely see again... and again... and probably again after that.
