Well-written, well acted, well done all. Some great, clever local references. Excellent.

An impeccably written blend of the Princess Diarist, Star Wars quotes, and local Halifax art community references to make all locals roll in the aisles, while still providing many, many laughs for those From Away. The performances further elevated the material and the comic timing was excellent all around!

Lots to love in this fun comedy inspired by Carrie Fisher's writing and the making of Star Wars, including local theatre scene mashups, spot-on performances by the cast, and a great many laughs!

An amusing little show.

To the point romance wrapped in the dressings of the production of the original Star Wars.

This is my first time attending a Fringe production and I had fun. I felt that the comedy was a bit mixed and scatter shot. The jokes kinda bounced around with the trivia (some of which were inaccurate and would infuriate some Star Wars nerds, but fine with me since they were in service to gags) and references (there were especially a lot of references to the local theater scene which I didn't get, but it pleased the audience so I'll allow it). At times tries to go for a Mel Brooks kind of nonsense but for me it mostly falls flat when trying to bring up modern references.

The fellow who played Mark Hamill was very fun.

A pleasant enough hour.

I was not expecting to laugh so much! This is a madcap, cheeky reimagining of quintessential Star Wars lore, featuring some standout performances, hilarious bits, and more Easter eggs than you could shake a gaderffii stick at. A must-see for any Lucas-phile.

This show is everything I love about Fringe - fun story, minimal set, more than a few insider “Hali-theatre” jokes, actors/writers/directors that are involved in many other Fringe shows and even a brand new actor!! Even though I’m not a huge Star Wars fan, there were plenty of jokes that made me laugh out loud. I’m still smiling about this one. Highly recommend!

Oh man this was funny! A well crafted and well executed four-hander about the making of Star Wars featuring awesome performances and a hilarious cameo (it’s not Jar Jar, but don’t worry, he gets a shoutout). Seriously- if you like Star Wars, see this show. It is charming and made with love. Bravo to the whole team.
