Heartfelt, beautiful and bittersweet comedic storytelling. Could have been called ‘escape from PEI’, but that would have missed too many details. Excellent show.
Perfect use of call-backs, tied every single loose end together so wonderfully, but filled with references very specific to his generation/demographic, so there were probably many moments that completely went over my head!
Would have also loved to have heard more about PEI -- as Justin himself mentions, the odds of actually meeting someone from PEI are so incredibly low!
Show also ran 14 minutes late, causing me to miss my next show.
Well tbe crying wasnt just from laughing. Thoughtful, honrst snd relatable to many...especially if you're from a small town.
It wasnt so much the jokes but the insight into relationships that got me; thst said very funny!

Have you ever had to leave home? Many of us have, and they often make great stories. This one takes us to several Canadian cities and introduces us to a few key characters, from poignant to rib-tickling funny. Had my full attention for over an hour.
Entertaining must-see show. Well-written show, brilliantly presented, with rare comedic timing and heartwarming moments. Everything you could hope for in a performance.
