The Cult of the Comfy Wizard

I. Find. Cults. FASCINATING!! So a show about a cult all about being comfy and cozy? Count me in! With a slightly later start time on the final day of the Halifax Fringe, the audience was small but MIGHTY as we were led through the rise and fall of the Comfy Wizard's cult. The story and performance was entertaining, the audience participation was hilarious, and I think a great (and educational) time was had by all (and not just because we were all given candy).

I went into this show knowing nothing about it, and I'm so glad I went! I loved the audience participation and was engaged the entire time. Don't be afraid to sit in the front row!

You are not immune to deceptive marketing. Being comfy sure does sound nice doesn't it.

Andrew made it encouraging and fun to participate in this event! Super clever comedy which explores the exploitation of the vulnerable by those with definitive answers in a broken and complicated world. A really important story about how to come into your own and realize the faults of the world without giving into those who’d exploit you. Must see!

A great experience of finding, joining, and then escaping the Wizard’s cult! Audience participation, great jokes, and even jolly ranchers. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone interested in cults!
