Cyprien Lomas
Delightful, charming and memorable. The actor tells a gripping tale with very few (if any) props that made me forget where I was. I was transported back in time to that Piazza in Italy. Very well done!
Go see this! Its well worth the extra few steps off of Granville Island.
Where do you go from perfect? After watching this I was wondering how I could ever be the same again. My solution: GO SEE IT AGAIN! and tell all your firiends (and I never tell my friends what I am doing ;) ) .
I LOVED this show. I was constantly surprised by the next twist. I was amazed at the presence and range of the actor. A whole variety of very crazy creative scenarios executed perfectly - often setting the scene with a single word (4th wall :) ) The writing was something else.. and left me wanting to know everything I could know about the play and the process.
A surprise treat at a slightly distant location (7th and Granville) but SO SO glad I ended up here. I thought it was perfect when I saw it. I had to stop seeing shows for a day to process. And now after a few days I still think its amazing.
This was the best thing I have seen this year.
Please bring this show back after the Fringe.
Loved this. the devil was amazing! Quixotic, mean, scary and enchanting all at the same time.
GO SEE THIS! (the devil made me say this).
Incredible!
The performance was visually stunning, creative with moments of humour, sarcasm, pain and grace. The performer (who commented that it was a mix of improvisation and set moves) led us through a series of moments fit to a compelling audio track in a refreshing and very creative manner.
I was enchanted and drawn in by the stunning dance, visual and sounds. AMAZING!
The performance got more and more intense as it went along.
Mind blown! literally! Such a lucky find!
