A very interesting concept for a play! I found the first half a bit more difficult to follow and at times slow moving. By the second half I felt very intrigued at what was happening and how it would end.

Amazing and captivating storytelling! The audience is brought through a range of emotions, and really made to feel what the dog feels. It made me want to explore the topic more. Great job!

The burlesque portion is quite funny and is over within the first 10 minutes of the show. There were some funny moments in this show like movement imitations and pigeon-izing many of the other fringe posters, however was lacking momentum. At one point she says “what else can I do to entertain you humans?” Which summed up the feeling through most of the show like she was grasping for ideas of what to do next to fill 60 minutes. Throughout there were various short moments of audience participation.

Sexy Disney characters (some unexpected), cabaret show with various talents (dance, opera, burlesque, singing, piano), each character getting sexy in their own way, and true stories about some of the performers. They open with a nice dance and sing number, and during the solo showcases some of them join in as background performers. Some very talented acts and very funny throughout.

Would like to see the emcees/hosts with more lines memorized and less use of the cue cards.

Very entertaining and creative presentation using camcorder and overhead projector to create a live film before your eyes. It was fascinating to watch as backgrounds and animations were created with moving scenes across the projector, using shadows, or using camcorder to record them. Both actors are filming, using the overhead projector, and acting in the play as Jack and the golden goose. The scenes involving shadows with the goose were very funny.

The main presenter read most of the content during this show. This was accompanied by a few posters that are shuffled through during the presentation. At times it was easy to listen to and stay engaged, and there were times that it was easy to zone out. There were many times when the information was read too quickly. Some gory and graphic details are provided at times. There was a moment when the director shared a story and it was very engaging as it was personal and not read from a script. The main presenter also acted at times but I did not think this added to the show.

Entertaining to see a musical being made up on the spot. They seem to be trained in specific strategies of making up songs so they can all join in and sing together. It’s very interesting to see the process and format. It’s fascinating and entertaining when the group sings together. There are always very funny moments. There were attempted harmonies at times; they were strongest at singing melodies in unison. Sometimes they add in some very bizarre and silly ideas to the musical that sometimes add to it and sometimes don’t. I’m always confounded about how they’ll wrap up the absurd stories. It would be nice to see more dancing in this show.

I was absolutely captivated through the entire performance! An amazing musical - great script, based on true story, amazing acting as a one man show, talented singing and stage presence, simple set and costume changes that really added to the story. I laughed and I cried. He did an excellent job changing gestures and voices for each character. He was a star acting as a memorable and lovable star.
