I love the Fringe!
If you had the chance to ask a Ghost a question, what would you ask?
But before you can ask a Ghost any question you have to ask yourself a question, do you believe in Ghosts?
Dr. Silkini (Gwendolyn Coburn) brings you into his world of Ghostly delights and I really enjoyed it from beginning to end.
This show truly represents the best of Fringe.
AMAZING!!! Mind of a Snail does it again with their brand of shadow puppetry and story telling. Visually stunning, fun to watch, and touching. Hopefully this dynamic duo makes more appearances in the near future.
Would def recommend it to any one of all ages.
We should’ve bought tix for the late show on Sat when we had the chance. Saw it on Fri and it was a great musical with fantastic performances by all. Fun, fast, and energetic!
Would def recommend watching again…if you get the opportunity :)
Normally I really enjoy shows written, directed, or performed by Trevor Schmidt but I have to admit that Murder Plot! left me wanting more. A lot more.
The description states the runtime as 70 min long but the show was only 35 min in length. I’m a sucker for murder mystery plays and had high hopes for this one but it just fell flat. The laughs were few and far between and sad to say that even the performances weren’t overly strong BUT with that said it is the Fringe and I do love all kinds of Fringe shows.
Take the good with the not so good and this was ok.
Every year there are true Gem's at the Edmonton Fringe, this is one of them. I hope SPEED is a hold over cause I plan on watching this show again.
Having never attended this show before I did not know what to expect. While waiting in line I noticed that there was children and thought “oh? I guess it’ll be an all Patrons improv show…”. .
Well…was I ever wrong! An F bomb was said within the first 10 minutes of the show and the laughs didn’t stop there. Now let me clarify that a great improv show does not need crude behaviour to be funny but some topics do need to be left off the list for obvious reasons.
Adding in murder suggestions from the audience made the show even funnier cause you’re hoping to hear what the cast might say even if the suggestions aren't your own.
The Rapid Fire cast were all on point and to top it off we were fortunate to see Belinda Cornish and Jacob Banigan in today’s performance. Great show, will see it again.
Wonderful show. My partner and I first saw Chase in 2017 performing 6 Guitars at the Westbury. The tickets for the show were gifted to us from a couple that we had never met before and boy were we glad that we accepted them because 6 Guitars was GREAT!!! Ever since that late evening show we have seen almost all of Chase's shows when he comes to Edmonton. Not only is Chase an amazing guitarist, he is an amazing story teller. He's captivating, honest, and funny all the meanwhile exposing his life adventures or misadventures and its all told with sincerity. There is nothing poor about this show I can say that with full sincerity. We are sure to be there for his next show, one that he promised is on its way.
