There were parts of this show that were so funny and well done. The cast was very talented. The overall idea was entertaining. However, a couple of things really dragged the experience down. The sightlines in the show are terrible - the first 4 rows need to be cut down to 1. Its too many flat rows before it starts scaling up. Mic issues were a big one. They were intermittently off and then on and then off again. But the biggest thing was that the music was too loud to hear the actual singing. We missed every single song because we only heard the music. So any plot points that were being given to us or they were trying to hit home? We didn't hear it sadly. And they had beautiful voices, so that is a shame. If you go, sit in the front row so that you can see and hear.

It was moving and inspiring. Bring your tissues with you!! We have seen Marisa (who plays Beth) on stage previously with the Maclab Theatre in Leduc and she never disappoints! Another incredible performance. And WOW what a heavy lift she is carrying with this story! She is someone to watch. I don't know if this is a personal story for the playwright, but I will say it is accurate to life in an oncology unit. I am a survivor myself and so many of the words felt like they were taken directly from my memories. I have lived in this story and I can say that the entire ensemble did an amazing job.
