I was intrigued by the concept and captivated by the performance of the two actors. The creative direction and design helped me to feel engaged in a space of ominousness and uncertainty while wondering what would happen next. I found myself moved by the explorations of interpersonal connection, parasocial relationships, and the friction of disconnection.
The atmosphere was magical. I felt like I was watching an animated film that had been brought to life. The lighting and sound design made me feel very well-immersed in the world of the piece, and the commitment and skill of the performers was wonderful to witness. The way that this piece explores grief and death tugged at my heart. I could feel the weight of it all, while still being held by the intimate setting that we were in.
This show was stunning. The creative forms that were used to tell this story drew me in immediately, and I loved every bit of darkness, boldness, and playfulness. Dahlia’s stage presence and skills as an actor and dancer were impressive and beautiful. Thank you for channeling your experiences into your art and for creating something so inspiring.
Grateful that I had the chance to attend. This is such a heartfelt, honest, and moving show. The vulnerability, gentleness, and humour that Steve and Jeff brought to the space was powerful in the most lovely way. I laughed and cried. Beautiful.
Smart, fun, and hilarious. Impressive multi-character clown work by Heather. The ideas and messages were strung together in a brilliant way through a wonderfully absurdist form.
Such a fun show! From the beginning, you feel welcomed into the space. An-Te’s character is endearing, charming, and hilarious, with the sensitivity of both a clown and a comedian. I was laugh-crying the entire time. Would be happy to see this one more than once!
