An excellent exploration of the myriad of emotions experienced by the protagonist. I was really looking forward to this one, and it did not disappoint!

Great job! The setting is super creative and adds so much to the experience. Like others have said, it feels very intimate to be sitting in the backseat, watching the actors go through emotionally, intense moments in the front seat. This to me as a typical fringe experience, unusual and memorable.

I highly recommend this show. Arturo is a fantastic performer, willing to be vulnerable and at the same time showing incredible resilience and strength. This show would be a special powerful for someone in recovery.

Oh man, what a missed opportunity this was… The setting, a False Creek ferry ride, is so creative and exciting. The idea of providing false information about False Creek is clever. The story fell completely flat though… There’s a lot of promise in this concept, but I recommend going back to the drawing board and completely rewriting the story.

I enjoyed this performance, it’s emotionally intense and has a “dangerous“ feel to it. I liked the power dynamics between the two performers. I was reminded of how intense attraction, love, rejection, and abandonment feel, especially when we’re young. Good job everyone!

A powerful story performed with high energy by two talented actors. The intimate bookstore setting ads to the experience. Especially in the beginning, the performance is very fast paced and requires intense attention from the audience. Things slow down a little as the play progresses. Definitely recommend.

Hmmmm, What to say about this one… I have held an interest in cults for a long time and was very excited to see this performance. It seems from prior reviews that the performer used to read out the very complex script. Kudos to her for having memorized It. However, I agree with other reviewers that her need to constantly ask the playwright for cues took away from the experience. Could this be done more subtly? Could she have a script on stage to refer to when necessary? Also, there needs to be a trigger warning as very gruesome physical abuse is described. While I admire the concept, this performance didn’t quite work for me.
