I can't rave about this enough honestly. I loved everything about it. The music was beautiful, the cast were perfect, the venue added to the haunting experience
Don't miss this, and sit in the front row. The audience gets to join in at times, which added to the whole piece. We even joined in with having some whiskey.
Loved everything about this. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, inspiring, maddening, funny. Highly recommend
This one wasn't quite what I expected. It takes a unique approach, weaving together Linda Hamilton's career, Shakespeare, and the lack of female roles in his works.
I guess I should have read the synopsis better, I was hoping for more terminator π. Fans of Shakespeare will enjoy this.
We loved Queens of romance! A hilarious hour of fictional romance writers, their lives and their stories. Dame nauseam killed us with just her facial expressions. Another must see if there are tickets available.
This was good, the performers for the most part were great, not stellar.
I enjoyed the look into auditioning, and feel for the pain performers go through to get roles
I think this would hit harder for those who are in the entertainment industry, rather than a passive observer like myself
This was a last minute addition for us. We were choosing between two shows to end the day, and we happened to see the cast for hexed, and decided it was a sign.
And it was!
This blew us away. It's heavy, emotional, and the entire cast had us enrapt even though it was past midnight after a long day.
I'm a big fan of historical fiction, so it was right up my alley, but anyone who enjoys a good drama will love this.
At the Yardbird suite, it's a good theatre as well.
The cast was so personable too. We talked to them when we made our decision and again after the show.
The costumes, makeup, and stage design were very well done, and in the beginning this felt like it was going to be great.
For me, the story didn't quite come together, and I found it a little longer than it needed to be. It wasn't my favourite of the festival. I have. Read other reviews praising this, so this may appeal to others.
Gordon's Big Bald Head is always a must see. This time they did gid is a Scottish drag Queen, a mashup of two of our favorites!
We laughed so hard, it was amazing as always.
Paul Strickland is such a good storyteller. We were getting tired by the time we saw this, and it perked us right up. The tales were definitely bloody, and a little creepy with some surprises. Highly recommended
Stellar performance by two amazing actors. The show itself is exactly what it promises in the synopsis.
I would recommend it just for the acting alone. The show itself was good. Not the best.
